Regardless of the content of the project, it is necessary to validate the design at various stages of the process. Without prototyping, real validation cannot be achieved. Sometimes a model is made to study ergonomics, sometimes a well-painted model is needed to see the aesthetic.

But what kind of a prototype should be used in which project? And how to put this prototype together in the quickest an most cost-effective way, is a matter of experience.

A part of my design processes comprise mass models processed in CNC’s, lasercuts, 3D printing and manual shaping by hand. By determining the required technique, according to the needs of the projects and the design, I can validate the design with prototypes before the final product.
